Yves Saint Laurent Lipstick and Todays outfit :)

So I just thought I'd post a picture of moi wearing the YSL Rouge Personnel I bought on Saturday, even though I think this lipstick has been discontinued I really like it. I paid £6 for it the other day in the village shop that sells makeup really cheap :) The outfit today is just something I slapped on more or less, I didn't have much time to get out the door an be gone, so I picked whatever was nearest to hand, lol. I'm usually more organised when dressing, but not today.

And here's what I used:

Last night I found my Chanel Mat Lumiere Foundation, that I'd completely forgot about (its in a tester size).
The beige colour is a bit dark on my skin, but it did blend in quite well, and if I put some St.Tropez tan on it will match very well.
I do actually like how it feels, it's quite light and satiny, and it does give a really nice flawless finish, so I was really pleased I'd found it, as my skin was needing a little more cover today as I'm looking quite pastey.

I want to buy the Bourjois Clubbing Mascara tomorrow, so if I do I'll try to review that, and compare it to the L'oreal Extra Collagen Mascara I'm using that the moment (I usually use Macs Plush Lash Mascara).
Ooh and tomorrow I'm having my hair cut for the first time since I was diagnosed with Alopecia, so I'm really excited about it. My hair needs a damn good trim.
When I was diagnosed about 10 weeks ago (or more) with alopecia I wasnt sure if I'd lose all my hair, so I left my hair be for a while. I'm not certain it won't all fall out, but the thinning has eased a bit and I think I've found new growth :)

Argh, I need to organise what I'm writing on these blogs better, so I know I've said all I wanted to. I'm sure I will get better at it though, in time :)

Skint, Lazy day.

So today was a quiet day, and I just went for a quick walk in the little town near where I live, so I didn't dress up or anything today, but since I was doing an fotd I thought I'd just show my new waistcoat :)
Face :Chanel teint innocence
Mac Moisturecover concealer
Mac Honey Light High-Light Powder
Mac Beauty Powder- Summer Rose

Eyes: Bamboo e/s all over
Flip e/s on Lid
Romp e/s on outer corner and crease
Goldmine e/s above crease (All Mac)
L'oreal Extra Volume Mascara

Lips: Up the Amp l/s by Mac

I did buy a few things today however hehe ;)
In the village where I live there is this little treasure of a shop, the lady there sells everything from Antiques to Cosmetics, and well yeah she sells cosmetics. And being as obsessed as I am, I called in there and bought a
few things.

I bought Estee Lauder High Gloss Plump in Melon Plump, this is a very nice peachy colour. It has a menthol tingley feeling (not like some of the harsher ones) but this is a really nice one, it feels refreshing and its not sticky, so I really like this one.

Estee Lauder High Gloss Plump -Melon Plump

I also bought a Lip Stick by Yves Saint Laurent - Rouge Personnel in 13 which is a shocking pink colour. It slides on really smoothly and feels really moisturising. It doesnt have as much pigment as say a mac lip stick, but this one can be built up and its a dream to wear, feels sort of like a balm, its really comfortable. I do really like it.
YSL Rouge Personnel 13

And so last but not least I bought an Urban Decay Eye Shadow Delux in Scratch. Which is a Pink Champagne colour. This eyeshadow is a really smooth and highly pigmented eye shadow, I think I will include it in a near future fotd as I'm eager to try it out.
I would have posted a swatch of it, but the lighting in my room is terrible. So I might add one at a later date.

I'd also like to thank the people that have joined my blog :) I hope to get better at it, and make it more interesting as my experience of blogging grows :)

I love Sales :)

So last week I bought some clothes, I hadn't posted anything until now, as I wasn't sure if I should. but what the heck :)
I bought a few little things from River Island (I love this Shop).
Im REALLY in love with this dress, it sort of reminds me of Carries dress in SATC when shes in Paris.

I love this Crochet waistcoat

I then bought a pair of Boyfriend jeans (they'll look nice dressed down with sandals) and a cute little necklace (I loved the little charms on it) from Miss Selfridge.

I also bought two scarves, but forgot to take pics.
And a Pair of Lee Jeans from TKMaxx (I love Tkmaxx, its great). I bought a really nice face cream and a Korres Shower Gel, which I shall post about another time.
So anyway, thats what I bought, and I'm looking forward to some retail therapy tomorrow, not that I'll be buying much :(
I think shopping should be prescribed on the NHS instead of prozac, for that feel good factor ;)

Boudoir and Last years Bags.

So last year I redecorated my bedroom. I wanted to create a sexy, french boudoir feel to it. Making it feel sensual, with different textures and rich colours.

So here are some pictures of my room, I did the whole wallpapering and painting myself. I also bought an old chair from an old secondhand shop for £2, which I painted gold and popped some swarovski crystals on to. I also changed the seat cover too.
(You can see a bit of this seat in the picture below).
(excuse the crappy bed sheets)
Candles create a nice warmth to a room. The shelf was painted gold and reflects the candles yellow glow.I bought a key holder in a DIY shop for around £1.50, and I painted it gold and popped some swarovski crystals on to it, swapped the string for ribbon and here you have a necklace holder.

Ooh and I'll add some bags I bought around the same time last year, I had a Modalu bag fetish at the time. I love these bags :)

(I have the modalu in the same style with the purple suede too, which I love to bits)

(I've only used this bag once, its too small for all my junk).

So there you have some of my DIY bedroom things :)

Pink daze!

Hey everyone, so today I actually took some pictures of myself for today's Fotd.

My rabbit Daisy had some babies yesterday afternoon :D so I've been busy checking up on her all night, and making sure just everything is cool with her and the babies.
Baby rabbits aren't born with any fur, but you can see by their skin colour what colour they are going to be, and there are two like their mammy, and one like its Daddy (Basil) so yeah, Im really excited.

My small Haul I received the other day.

And here's my little haul.

I bought some of the Mac Naked Honey collection, as I love any and everything honey :) I have been very excited to try this collection as soon as I heard it was coming out. So I waited all those months and when it came online I was there, pouncing to get the three products I wanted. Which were the Naked Honey and Aficanimal Fragrances and the High-Light powder.

The delivery man (who is quite hot) delivered the products first thing Monday morning, which my mum ran up stairs with for me as soon as they arrived. So we both sat and opened and sprayed ourselves with each perfume ( each on a different arm of course) and we both sat in silence. The silence was a reaction from being quite disappointed. Both fragrances were quite disappointing :( I had such high expectations for these. I was expecting something very sweet and more foody. However after trying both for a while, and changing my mind set and expectations, I am actually starting to like them.

The Naked Honey perfume to me is very powerful and has a very strong honeysuckle scent, which was a bit too floral for my liking, however on the dry down it does become a little sweeter. After trying it for a few days, I find it is nice on rainy days. It reminds me of the warm, summer days with showers. I have no idea why, but maybe its because I walked passed some on a college trip last year while it was raining?! I do find this scent quite fresh though, which is something I never go for.
Then the Adricanimal was to me very masculine and spicy, but it did dry down to a lighter scent.
It does to me have a slight beeswax smell, and the spice smells l
ike a ground cinnamon that you find at the back of a kitchen cupboard, god knows why I think that lol.
I have to say though it is rather warm and deep, and perfect for those summery nights out.

I do have to say though that I layered both scents together, and they surprising really do blend well together, I'm quite liking it. Layering the Africanimal over the Naked Honey, powders down the strong floral scent of honeysuckle and makes it less overpowering.
I think I will start wearing them like this :)

However I did love the High-light powder in Honey Light, I loved the cute honey comb pattern. The colour was a nice gold too, which I shall wear on my cheekbones and other parts, with a bit of blusher contoured. The gold shimmer to disappear when you've used it once or twice, but the bronze colour underneath is nice, and quite a good colour for my fair skin.

You can see in the picture, that the lovely goldy shimmer comes off after a few swipes, and unveils a more bronzey colour.

And finally I also bought the Colour Craft Eye Shadow in Eccentricity, I love having four colours in one its really handy to carry around and saves me (because I'm lazy) searching around for eye shadows. The colours are lovely and coordinate each other lovely. The gold reminds me of goldmine, but a more powdery/ loose texture (but that could just be me).

Flash (ugh you can see how pale my hands are)
No flash

Anyway I think I shall leave it at that now, as I've had a busy day and the acupuncture I had today has left me feeling quite drowsy.
Oh and the acupuncture and the lady performing it were amazing, I cant wait to see the results in myself.

Must start Blogging..

Right, so I haven't really blogged at all, even though I want to. I received some Naked Honey stuff yesterday from MAC (I'll write about those tomorrow though).
Tonight I'm pretty excited about something else though ..

I'm off to have acupuncture tomorrow, I've waited a while to get an appointment.

The reason I am going for the acupuncture isn't a positive thing though, I have Alopecia (I'm losing my hair).
I'm not sure how bad my hair loss is going to be, or when it will re-grow, however I'm giving everything natural a shot,
I've been taking colloidal Silica for over 8weeks now (it takes over 10 weeks for it to work).

I'm also using the Boots Expert Hair loss treatments for women, however I'm not sure if its working, but it does preserve the red hair colour I use, so that's some good news.

Then on Saturday I decided to buy some Nettle capsules, after hearing some good things about it online, so I really hope its enough to bring my hair back. I want it to be thick and crazy like it use to be.

Anyway I best get off to bed, I'm too excited about the acupuncture :D
If anyone reads this(I don't have any readers yet, due to me only lurking for sometime), let me know if you've ever experienced hair loss and how it affected you, also if you found anything that helped. :)
