Maybelline Forever Strong Nail Polish - Rose Nudes

As a fan of nude colours I'd had my eye on these polishes for a while, but for some stupid reason I kept putting off actually buying them.
Until last Saturday that is.
Superdrug had them on offer at £6 for two,  instead of £4.09 each. So I scooped them up.

First-up is Nude Rose 135, which is a pretty medium, soft pink.
I had the polish on for 4days so it may look a little aged, but I think it lasted pretty well considering I've been gardening, cleaning rabbit hutches, housework and other daily things.

Next we have Rose Poudre 130 which is a subtle, soft nude pink.

These two polishes will probably my go to polishes for the next few weeks, as they're easy to wear and make nails look pretty.

Mac Warm and Cosy with a tiny bit of lace loving.

Today my Mac order came, despite all the snow (think I need to have a big white van to get through this snow).
Anyway the other day I got carried away with Macs Warm and Cozy collection and bought quite a lot, the most I've ever bought from one collection, usually I buy one or two things.
So here's what I bought, plus one Love Lace item.

I think I'll leave the eyeshadows and lip products to speak for themselves as they are gorgeous, natural, warm, understated colours, which is what I totally love.

I bought both Care Blend Essential oils, as I really love essential oils I think they have so many benefits physically and mentally. The oils come in: Sweet Orange and Lavender and Grapefruit and Chamomile.

By candlelight has got to be my favourite MSF, its a gorgeous dusky, golden pink. It's very frosty, but looks more glowy and natural'ish when on.

And here's me wearing the new products, trying to be warm and cozy in my grey jumper as it's freezing out.
I just went for a very natural look with just some YSL touch eclat under the eyes, and maybelline colossal on the lashes, and my new Mac stuff :)

Last but not least is the Love Lace eye kohl in Sense Of Style.
Its quite an intense marine blue/ black shade.
When you pull the pencil out it looks quite blue, but when applied it's darker than you'd expect.

I have to say I'm really pleased with this collection, I've been leaning more towards Bobbi Brown lately, but this collection has dragged me back to Mac again.

Mondays Boots Haul

I popped to Boots on Monday in need of something, after being stuff in the house from all the snow.
So my dad popped me into the nearest little town, and I bought a few little things :D

First thing I bought was something I'd fancied before Christmas, and that was a Ruby& Millie palette. It was reduced down to £7.50 from £15. Bargain. They're really nice pigmented eyeshadows too, pretty good quality. I can imagine getting a couple of looks out of this palette, I'm excited to play with it.

The colours don't have names, but they range from a champagne gold, to a smokey silvery grey.

I bought the Maybelline Colossal mascara, I've had my L'oreal one for a couple of months and I needed a change. I put some on today, only one coat and it defined all my lashes nicely.

I also bought the L'oreal Elvive Re-nutrition Night serum, my hair is feeling a bit dry from all this cold weather.
I used some one monday night, and last night and it does make my hair feel softer, but I don't really get much shine from it. It is lightweight however, and does make it feel nourished.

Hope you're all ok, and thanks for reading :D

I've been quiet lately post, with lots of Red

Hey all :)
Sorry I haven't been posting much lately, life has been weird and stuff, and I haven't been around the computer so much.

Anyway I went out today and bought my two favourite magazines Glamour and Elle.
I was really excited to get Glamour as they have free Nails Inc polishes with them this Month, Yipeee.

I'm in a red mood lately (probably because autumn is here and xmas is soon), so I bought the Glamour magazine with the Polish in the shade Victoria&Albert, which is a lovely festive red.
Also Elle magazine came with a Free £20 Gift card off Reiss Items :)

On Tuesday I was in Tesco and had a quick look at the nail polishes, and I saw this Maybelline polish in Cherry 505L. It's a lovely Cherry red, and it makes me feel really glam :)

So to make me feel even more glam, I decided today to pop into Boots and look for a Maybelline Stay Put Lipcolour.
So I had a look, and within a second or two I saw the colour that would match my nail varnish, and that colour was Maybellines superstay in Red Passion 510.
It's a lovely vibrant red, and the balm that comes on the other end of the lip colour is really moisturising and glossy.

I've always been skeptical of these type of products as I really hate dry lips, but I've noticed that some lipsticks dry my lips anyway and they always need reapplying too, so I thought I'd just get one of these and just keep using the balm without having to worry about smudges.

So far I'm happy with it :)
Thanks for reading :) x

Tiny Haul.

I popped just to my Local small town today which is really like a small village ( I think the population is 2000 or something), anyway I popped into Boots in need of something.
So I looked around for a bit, and decided I'd get the Maybelline Color Sensation lippie in Ambre Rose. I have a thing for pink natural looking lippies lately (its a new fetish).

When I was in Boots playing around with this l/s I thought it reminded me of Nars' Lipgloss in Orgasm, but when I got home and compared it I realised Orgasm is much more peachy.

Swatches
(See how wrong I was?)lol.

I have to say this l/s does feel quite moisturising which is something I love a l/s to have, but it doesn't have much staying power. I do think this l/s is worth purchasing though, and it's quite cheap at approx £6.

The other thing I bought was Weleda's Wild Rose Deodorant, and I'll tell you it smells gorgeous. If you've ever tried Weleda's Wild Rose Face creams, you will know how gorgeous this stuff smells, because it smells exactly like the creams :)

I personally don't like using deodorants that contain aluminium, so that is why I bought this as the Lush deodorants don't really work for me and are quite a hassle to use (because I'm lazy).

Anyway that's my haul, thanks for looking :)
