Dior ADDICTed

How do everyone, I hope everyone is all well and happy.
I've recently been very addcited to Dior products.
It started out being addcited to Dior Addict perfume and it has gradually gone from there, and has grown quite quickly in the last few weeks.
I just thought I'd blog to show you all how beautiful these products are, and I've been pleasantly surprised with the quality of all of them.

To Start off we have the DiorSkin Nude Natural Glow Foundation.
This is a gorgeous foundation and has a '100% blend of mineral pigments and energising mineralized water' as Dior says. This has to be one of the freshest, most light and natural feeling foundations I have tried.
It gives good coverage withour caking or looking fake, it just makes you're skin look luminous. Since I've been wearing this foundation people have told me how well I look lately (and I can tell you it's not from my diet).
I was a BIG fan ot Bobbi Brown's Skin Foundation and Bourjois' 10hr effect makeup, but since using this 'pah' I haven't even looked at them.

I also purchased DiorSkin Nude Natural Glow Sculpting Powder Makeup as I was so impressed by the foundation.
During the summer months I like something light on my skin, so this looked perfect, and it is exactly that :)
Again this compact is filled with the energizing mineral water Dior speak of, and whatever is in this gorgeous, glam looking compact, it does the trick.
They say with this compact you can use the skin coloured powder to give a flawless look to skin.
Use the darker coloured powder for contouring and the light pink one (in Sable Roses' case) for illuminating eye contours and giving a halo of light, I like using it as a highlighter and I like using the darker middle powder as a bronzer.
However you can always just swirl the three colors together for a luminous tailor-made colour :)
That's what I like about this compact you can create several looks with it, depending on your mood.

As I like a natural look makeup on my eyes I bought Diors 5 color palette in 705 Beige Massai.
The colours are gorgeous and perfect for a natural look. The peachy colour is probably my favourite as it really suits my eye colour and makes them pop. I usually use the darkish, reddish brownie colour in the outer corner too.
The eyeshadows are very nicely pigmented and blend very well into eachother.
I was going to purchase Incognito, but I'm so glad I bought this one.

I know many people either love or hate this Dior Color Reviver Balm, but I'm going to say I absolutely love it :)
I know it's expensive, but it feels so nice and soft on and gives your lips a kissable pink colour that looks fresh.
I'm also a huge lover of Dior's Lip packaging, it makes it feel so glamourous, I feel like Dita VonTeese when I apply them, hehe.

This next product is very new to me, I've only had it a few days so I'm not going to say too much about it, as I want to see if it does actually improve lips in 15days. I will tell you though as a Lip Plumper this one does not give that bee stung feeling that many other brands give e.g Lip Injection and DuWops lip Venom. This one feels slighty cooling and has a lovely vanilla scent to it, yum.
What I did like in the description of this plumper is though that Dior says 'Lips that look tranformeed in just 15days: Lips feel rehydrate and restructured. Lip contour is redefined day after day', and that's what sold me. I will also say though so far this doesn't give you a horrible sticky, gluey residue that a lot of plumper gives, and my lips do feel moisturised.
Another thing is it lasts after a few cups of tea too :D

I've been eyeing these Dior Rouge De Serum Lippies since before Christmas, but the expensive price tag of £24 kept putting me off for some reason.
These lippies claim to have 10times more lip ingredients than other lipsticks and will redefine lips in 4weeks and regain their curves.
And well after using for about 2weeks I have to say they're nicer than any other lipstick I have tried. They feel moisturising, last pretty well for a lipstick and I just like that fact that I feel that when I wear these lipsticks I feel that I'm doing my lips some good.
That is one reason why I love French Brands, they always seem to know what's good skincare wise.
The other thing with these lip colours is that they come in quite neutral colours, I bought 64 Soft Pink Serum which is a light lip colour for me, but I think it looks good and looks natural :)

And to the product that started my whole Dior Craze, Dior Addict perfume.
I just absolutely love this warm, creamy, vanilla, sandlewood perfume. I'd say it's a definate romantic late dinner perfume, but I do like wearing it on cold rainy days, as it just smells so sexy :)

The other perfume is Dior's Miss Dior Cherie Eau De Toilette which is the softer, more floral version of the Parfum in my opinion. It isn't as sweet as the edp, but it's lovely for summer.

And there you have my small Dior Addiction :)

Thanks for reading XxX

Mac smoke and Mirrors Palette and FOTD!

Hey all, hope you're all doing well?!
I've been a bit down lately, because of my hair still falling out, and a few other things and that's why I haven't posted.
Anyway my mum bought me this palette the other day, as a treat to cheer me up a bit, so I thought I'd show you all, and post some swatches :)

I did think that after having two Bobbi Brown Palettes and loving them so much that I wouldn't want a Mac one for a while.
That is until I saw the Smoke and Mirrors palette.

As you can see from the swatches above the colours are very neutral, look very much like the Bobbi Brown Shimmering Nudes palette except there is a very nice beige colour (fire in her eyes) which is very wearable, and I know I will be using this one a lot.
I also love Wide eyed wonder which is a greyish taupe, and great for a sultry smokey look and the texture is very smooth to apply, and very pigmented.
The only one that has a weird hardish, chalkish texture that is harder to apply is Deception, you need to apply a few layers to get the colour to show (well I do, could just be me)?!

These colours are very wearable, and I love them :)
Below is a look I created earlier today. Excuse the crazy weird hair, I was caught in the rain earlier.
Damn rain, we have so much of it here in the UK.

What I Used:
Skin: Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation in Sand 2.
Bobbi Brown Creamy concealer in Cool Sand.
Bobbi Brown Sheer Color Cheek Tint - Sheer pink 6.

Eyes: Smoke and Mirrors Palette

Lid and Brow bone - Fire in her eyes
Lid - Wide Eyed Wonder
Crease and Liner - Black Magique
Lower Lid - Spell No9 Mascara - L'oreal Double extension with Renewal Serum

Lips: Givenchy Gloss Interdit 02

Also because of this crap weather I fancied something pretty that would lift my mood, so I bought a bag from Acessorize.

I love the gold butterflies on it and its just really pretty.

Thanks for reading :)

Quck FOTD and Jemma Kidd Book

It's been a week since I posted last, and it's been sort of a busy week and everything, but I'm not going to burden you with that.

I thought I'd post a quick fotd of me wearing the Earth Metal Bobbi Brown Palette, which is my favourite at the moment.

I've been using Mac e/s for a long time now, and have loved them, but for some reason could never get them to show up very much on my eye lids (which is probably down to how I apply them, maybe), but since using the Bobbi Brown E/S I'm in love.
It doesn't take much to get them to stand out, they are so pigmented and really a dream to apply, they also blend very easily into one another.

In this picture (sorry for the crap grin) I'm wearing the lovely Silver colour called Zinc, and Earth Metal blended into the outer corners and crease. On the lower lid I'm wearing Sunset Gold, I wanted to clash some colours :)

Next thing I'm going to show you is this lovely book by Jemma Kidd, I have to say I'm really excited about this book (haven't read it all, yet).
This book covers all the Basics of Makeup and more.

There are beautiful illustrations, and step by step guides.

I have bought many beauty books over the years, but in my opinion this has to be the best :)
So if you can get your mitts on it, buy it. I really recommend it.

Fotd, smokey brown.

I never do the smokey type of eyes, and hardly wear eyeliner, but today I fancied a change. I also wore nude lips, which is something I never wear I usually go for pinks and reds.
So here's the pics and what I used.
Chanel Looks a bit used.

I'm wearing a very casual outfit,.
I'm wearing an Urban outfitters Tshirt, I love the colours and pattern on it.
The Purple Highwaisted jeans are from ASOS.
Then the Cardigan I'm wearing is an old Topshop one, I love topshop cardigans :)

Anyway Hope you're having a lovely day :)

Ooh actually can someone recommend a pretty neutral'ish, maybe pink beige, or peach beige lippie that's quite moisturising, I want the YSL volupte one in No1 but can't afford it :(
Thanks x

I just thought I'd pop the pictures up for you to see anyway :)

I used:
Face: Bourjois 8hr effect foundation (I'm still loving this stuff).
Mac Select Moisturecover concealer.
MeMeMe poppy tint on cheeks.

Mac steep on the brow bone.
Bourjois Clubbing mascara

Lips: Poppy Tint.
Vaseline Rosy Lips (damn I forgot to take a picture of this), I really like this stuff too, it smells really nice.

FOTD! Just a quick neutral fotd.

So I thought I'd pop a quick fotd up, it's nothing special but I put some darkish eyeshadow on the bottom eyelids (which I never do).

I also tried the Bourjois 10hr effect foundation that I bought on Saturday, and I love it. Its nice and light and blends so easily into my skin, with no fuss, its great :)

I used the Yves Saint Laurent Blush variation too, and used the Mac 168 brush, and it went on so smoothly, I will definitely buy YSL blushes again. Its goes on so nice and lightly, and looks natural, and can be built up easily too :D

Something else I was quite surprised about too was the BeautyUK eyeshadow palette. I bought this on Friday (sorry forgot to mention it on saturdays haul) and these eyeshadows are actually quite pigmented, and I love the neutral browns. The application is smooth too.

So I'd definitely reccomend those 3 products, I'm very happy with them.

Here are the pics.

This is what I used all together

Oops, I've been busy doing this and was meant to put things in the oven before mum comes home, and she's home.
I'm in trouble,lol.
Better make a nice dinner hehe.

Yves Saint Laurent Lipstick and Todays outfit :)

So I just thought I'd post a picture of moi wearing the YSL Rouge Personnel I bought on Saturday, even though I think this lipstick has been discontinued I really like it. I paid £6 for it the other day in the village shop that sells makeup really cheap :) The outfit today is just something I slapped on more or less, I didn't have much time to get out the door an be gone, so I picked whatever was nearest to hand, lol. I'm usually more organised when dressing, but not today.

And here's what I used:

Last night I found my Chanel Mat Lumiere Foundation, that I'd completely forgot about (its in a tester size).
The beige colour is a bit dark on my skin, but it did blend in quite well, and if I put some St.Tropez tan on it will match very well.
I do actually like how it feels, it's quite light and satiny, and it does give a really nice flawless finish, so I was really pleased I'd found it, as my skin was needing a little more cover today as I'm looking quite pastey.

I want to buy the Bourjois Clubbing Mascara tomorrow, so if I do I'll try to review that, and compare it to the L'oreal Extra Collagen Mascara I'm using that the moment (I usually use Macs Plush Lash Mascara).
Ooh and tomorrow I'm having my hair cut for the first time since I was diagnosed with Alopecia, so I'm really excited about it. My hair needs a damn good trim.
When I was diagnosed about 10 weeks ago (or more) with alopecia I wasnt sure if I'd lose all my hair, so I left my hair be for a while. I'm not certain it won't all fall out, but the thinning has eased a bit and I think I've found new growth :)

Argh, I need to organise what I'm writing on these blogs better, so I know I've said all I wanted to. I'm sure I will get better at it though, in time :)

Pink daze!

Hey everyone, so today I actually took some pictures of myself for today's Fotd.

My rabbit Daisy had some babies yesterday afternoon :D so I've been busy checking up on her all night, and making sure just everything is cool with her and the babies.
Baby rabbits aren't born with any fur, but you can see by their skin colour what colour they are going to be, and there are two like their mammy, and one like its Daddy (Basil) so yeah, Im really excited.

Ok back to the FOTD.

Ok so today I am wearing:
Face: Chanel Teint Innocence (haven't worn it in a while, and Id forgotten how much I like it.)
Mac Select moisturecover concealer
Givenchy Prismissime in Sunset

Eyes: Mac steep e/s all over
Mac Cranberry e/s on lid
Mac Embark in crease
Mac Gateaux (from sweetie cakes palette) above crease and inner lid.
Mac Eye Pencil in Black Funk on upper lash line.
L'oreal Extra-volume collagen Mascara in Black

Lips: Mac l/s Pink Noveaux
and a dap of Vaseline rosy lips on top

So thats what I wore today :)
Excuse the Cardigan, Ive been with rabbits all day, as you might notice my neck is scratched to bits, some sudocrem should help sort it out though :)

I do have some hauls from the other day that I'll hopefully post tomorrow. I had abit of Tkmaxx day on saturday.
Ta for reading :)
