More Une cosmetics and some randomness haul!

Hey everyone, I just thought I'd show you a haul from today :)
It's very random and I now have an addiction for Une cosmetics.

So I bought some Chamomile tea, I drink it every night as it helps me to drift off to sleep better and gives me a sounder sleep.
I haven't tried this tea I'm showing before, but because it's organic and has vanilla I'm sure it will be great. Can't wait to drink some.

I've recently fallen in love with Thierry Mugler's Womanity perfume after going into Debenhams every other day, and testing some. It compliments me perfectly. It's a very weird fragrance, it's fruity (due to the fig in it) and also has a salty mix (from the caviar note).
So I have ordered a giftset online (which wasn't instore yet) and I'm eagerly awaiting it's arrival, hence the purchase of the Sweet Fig body wash :)
I'm not really sure about the brand of this bodywash is (Grand Tour) but it's free from parbens, mineral oils, harsh preservatives and artificial colours and smells sweet and woody at the same time. Also doesn't irritate my sensitive skin (I bathed in it earlier and it was lovely).

Right onto my new favourite beauty brand Une :D
I have 6 items in all now, and I still want MORE!!!

Today I had the 100% Mineral Foundation (which I have yet to use) I bought the lightest shade I think (was the lightest avaliable in the shop), which is M03.
As you can see I bought the Mineral form, there is also the pressed form which is a bit more expensive at £13.99, but the loose was £9.99 so I thought I'd try the cheaper one first ;)

Next up is the Lip-toned colour lipstick. I really couldn't decide between the Balm or this, but settled for this when I noticed the colour I wanted in the balm was sold out.
I bought colour L02 which was the lightest. It's a really sheer, fleshy lip toned lipstick.
It contains beeswax too, so that's great :)
I haven't tried it on yet, but I have some swatches to show you.
Oh and it cost £7.99.
Last of my Une products is the Multipurpose brush.
I'm not sure why, but I really like the look of this brush.
I believe it to be goats hair (i might be wrong though), this brush isn't soft it's pretty firm, but it's bristles aren't hard or scratchy.
And as it is a multipurpose brush I can use it for my mineral foundation or blusher.
This brush also was £7.99.

I also popped into TKMAXX today and bought these two little blouses/shirts, they just caught my eye and I had to HAVE!

Anyway that's where I leave it now, and wander off to get myself a cup of chamomile tea :) And head for bed.
Thanks for reading.
XxX

I love getting Nude!

So recently I have noticed in magazines that the trends for Spring/Summer 2010 is NUDE!!
I really love this trend, everything is toned down, clothes are floaty, lacey and chiffony!
Then the makeup is totally natural.
Such as from Valentino.
(see pic below)

This is all good for me as I like a more subtle makeup look, as when and if I apply too much I look like I'm in drag or something.

So the other week I ordered Paul&Joe's Moisturizing Foundation Primer in Dragee 01, which is for skin tones with pink in them.
There's also Miel 02 for yellow toned skins and Creme 03 for all skin tones.

(Paul&Joe Moisturizing Primer in Drage 01)

I fancied a nice primer which could be worn on its own without foundation, that would give my pale, winter skin some colour without being, heavy or obvious to pull off the whole natural thing.
Well this primer does just that.
It hides pores nicely, and minimizes the look of fine lines (which I'm now getting :( ) and it keeps my skin pretty luminous for hours.
I've worn it most days for 2 weeks now, and it is a really nice primer, I'm quite smitten with it.
It doesn't feel at all siliconey like other primers e.g Philosophy's Supernatural and GOSH primer. It's kept my skin feeling nice and moisturised through this harsh, cold weather we've had here in the UK recently, and it doesn't feel oily either.
If I need a bit more coverage for a night out or something I can apply Bobbi Brown's Skin Foundation on top and it will go just perfectly :)

So here's a pic of me wearing the Primer, so you can see what it's like.

This is me from Wednesday

I used Paul&Joe's moisturizing Primer, YSL touch Eclat and Mac's Pink Swoon Blusher.

On the eyes I used Mac E/s in Chamomile and Modelette (Chamomile all over and Modelette just on the lid and lower lid).

Maybelline's Colossal Mascara on Lashes.

And just Lip Balm on the lips.

It takes under 10mins and it's an easy look for when you really have to rush out.

To add to my nude obsession I've been wearing nude nail polish, I've been using OPI's 'Tickle My France-y' from Opi's French collection.
It's quite an old collection, but I love it. I have a few nail polishes from this collection, it probably has to do with my love of all things French.

To further my current obsession I have also bought a nude Shrug :)

To keep myself optimistic after having all this Cold weather I thought I'd buy something ready for Spring/Summer and this Shrug from Topshop was perfect.
It's Nude, lacey (on the sleeves) and floaty.

It will be really nice to wear when the weather is hot, but not hot enough.

I can't wait to wear it!! Bring on Summer!!!

Online Shopping Haul!

A few things I ordered off the net came today :D I've had a damn flu, and to cheer myself up and get some winter things ready, I got some stuff off the internet.

I have a thing about over-sized men type shirts at the moment :S it will faze out in a week or two, but right now I love them, lol. I want MORE!
I also bought a jumper dress to wear with tight or leggings, with ankle boots for comfy days at college that don't include painting.
I also bought a crazy hat, lol, I love these styles. I think they're hunter hats (even though I hate hunting and am well against it).

I am really excited about these shoes, I've wanted Brogues for Aaggges!!! These ones have some cool little studs, I love them. I also find Topshop shoes comfy :)

This is really naughty, but I have some Body Shop stuff too.
I've read so many nice things about this perfume, and because it has vanilla I had to have it.
I love warm vanilla scents for winter. I had a sample in Cosmo magazine a few weeks back too, and it smelt gorgeous.
I bought the body wash too, so I can be surrounded by the lovely scent in the Bath too.
I also have the Brazil Nut body scrub too, as I love the body shop scrubs, they always make skin feel so smooth and moisturised, like new skin.
And because I'm a lip balm freak I got the Tantalising lip butter, it's so smooth and moisturising.
So that's it for now :)
Hope you've had a lovely evening :)

Long time..No Blog. Saturday Shopping Haul :)

I finally got out to do a little shopping today, and it was all pretty random. I firstly went to Superdrug and bought more nail varnishes(I have too many) , and a carmex lip balm (I have too many lip balms too).
I bought Three Collection 2000 nail varnishes, the pink one is a sort of barbie pink and is called pink passion, I'm going to put this on my toes tomorrow.
I bought a clear o
ne as a base and this 2 in 1 nail varnish is strengthening and hardening and contains calcium.
The third one is a Blue'ish purple called BMX Bandit, and I shall be wearing that for Monday :)

I also bought the Palmers Cocoa Butter Natural Bronze, I really love this stuff, it smells gorgeous like a chocolatey, caramel smell (I think it does anyway).
This stuff does give a nice natural looking tan, but it does get a little patchy, that the only thing I don't like.
Since winter is almost upon us I don't like using St.Tropez and well lately I haven't u
sed fake tan at all, I'm trying to just be my pale self, but I feel that I need a little colour on my arms, so people don't mistake them for sticks of chalk in my drawing class.

So after superdrug I popped into Newlook to buy some t-shirts and long sleeved t-shirts to go underneath things, because I hate to be cold.

I then went to TKMaxx ( I love this shop) and I bought a lovely Shawl/Scarf thingy. I do love the scarves in accessories but I know if I buy one from there I'll either know, or see someone I know wearing the one I have, and I like to be different so I go to Tkmaxx for most things.

I also had to stock up on cleanser, and since Boots have a 3 for 2 offer on at the moment, I thought I'd take advantage of it :)
So I bought my favourite cleaning products which I swap between, every now and then.

And they are Avenes Extremely gentle cleanser, its a really good thermal spring water based cleanser that is great for sensitive or irritated skin. It also removes eyemake, and since I'm usually too lazy for a huge cleansing routine I love this.

I'm a proper french skincare lover, and a huge fan of Roc products and I have gone through so many of these Roc Hydra 3 in 1 cleansers and if I change I always come back. Like the Avene cleanser this one too removes eye makeup :)
Both cleansers remove dirt really well without drying the skin out.

I usually feel like I need a bit of freshening after cleansing, so for that I use Rocs skin toner. There's nothing much to say about this, but it feels really fresh and doesn't dry your skin out because its made for Dry skin :)

Ok, this next purchase is something I wasn't sure whether I should buy.
I was shopping in Tesco, and well I've been wanting a cheap Boyfriend style shirt to paint in at college.
All the shirts I have seen in Topshop, Miss Selfridge and River Island are way too nice to ruin, so I went and bought a mens shirt from Tesco for £10,lol.
I'm going to put my own little twist on it, to make it more stylish, but I think it might be Ok.
I shall do an outfit of the day featuring this cheap man shirt soon, lol.

Last but not least is this hair colour by Daniel Field, it arrived in the post for me this morning :)
I now have to be careful with the hair dyes I use, and after looking all over the internet for natural hair dyes this one kept popping up, so I gave it a go.
I messaged a lovely lady at Daniel Field and told her about my hair loss, and asked if this dye would be ok for my scalp and she said yes :)
I also asked which red to go for and she suggested the Burgundy Red, and I must say it's a lovely colour I used it tonight and I'm very happy with the results.
These hair colours are peroxide and ammonia free, which is great. They're also long lasting, and can cover greys.

This hair colour is completely different to any other I have used because all you have to do is add Water. Yes, WATER!!!
Umm actually I think I'll write more about this tomorrow, as it deserves a post of its own, and I'll also show the colour off too.

So yes, thats what I bought today :)
I did buy a new electric toothbrush, but I don't think you want to see that, lol, but if you're interested its a Braun Oral B professional care 8500 hehe.

Anyway I must get to bed, I have a stinking cold and chest infection.
Take care all :) x

Todays Silly outfit.

Today I had to run down to the health shop to get my nana some organic flour, and in the process I got caught by a downpour of bloody rain, lol.
Since I wasn't planning on going out or anything today I was wearing silly clothes, and trying to see how I could wear my Topshop Zebra cropped T-shirt.

When I bought the Tshirt online it said cropped, it didn't mention its so bloody baggy it could fit two of me in it. So I tried layering a long sleeved top underneath, since it is quite cold today.

I know one thing from today's experience though, I won't be wearing white without some fake tan. Oh and I need to start carrying my umbrella around with me :P

The makeup I'm wearing today isn't V good so I'm not going to do any pics of that.

One good thing came out of today's little trip though and that is L'oreal's Collagen Filler double action Lip + Lip contour, I've wanted this stuff for a while now. In Boots its down from £13 something, to £9 something (can't remember how many pennies.
Im really looking forward to using this stuff, my lips are needing some Oomph.

I shall write a review on this stuff in a week or so, just to let you know whether its a gimmick or something good ;)

Fotd, smokey brown.

I never do the smokey type of eyes, and hardly wear eyeliner, but today I fancied a change. I also wore nude lips, which is something I never wear I usually go for pinks and reds.
So here's the pics and what I used.
Chanel Looks a bit used.

I'm wearing a very casual outfit,.
I'm wearing an Urban outfitters Tshirt, I love the colours and pattern on it.
The Purple Highwaisted jeans are from ASOS.
Then the Cardigan I'm wearing is an old Topshop one, I love topshop cardigans :)

Anyway Hope you're having a lovely day :)

Ooh actually can someone recommend a pretty neutral'ish, maybe pink beige, or peach beige lippie that's quite moisturising, I want the YSL volupte one in No1 but can't afford it :(
Thanks x

I want to be French fotd

Today I popped a black and white striped long sleeved top on, and some black jeans, along with my urban outfitters quilted grey bag and I felt instantly french, even though I probably didnt look it,hehe.
I just thought I'd pop the pictures up for you to see anyway :)

I used:
Face: Bourjois 8hr effect foundation (I'm still loving this stuff).
Mac Select Moisturecover concealer.
MeMeMe poppy tint on cheeks.

Eyes: Yves Saint Laurent E/s Duo in 7, I used the green all over the lid, then applied the gold to the inner corners, and just a little in the center of the lid, and lower lid.
Mac steep on the brow bone.
Bourjois Clubbing mascara

Lips: Poppy Tint.
Vaseline Rosy Lips (damn I forgot to take a picture of this), I really like this stuff too, it smells really nice.

Yves Saint Laurent Lipstick and Todays outfit :)

So I just thought I'd post a picture of moi wearing the YSL Rouge Personnel I bought on Saturday, even though I think this lipstick has been discontinued I really like it. I paid £6 for it the other day in the village shop that sells makeup really cheap :) The outfit today is just something I slapped on more or less, I didn't have much time to get out the door an be gone, so I picked whatever was nearest to hand, lol. I'm usually more organised when dressing, but not today.

And here's what I used:

Last night I found my Chanel Mat Lumiere Foundation, that I'd completely forgot about (its in a tester size).
The beige colour is a bit dark on my skin, but it did blend in quite well, and if I put some St.Tropez tan on it will match very well.
I do actually like how it feels, it's quite light and satiny, and it does give a really nice flawless finish, so I was really pleased I'd found it, as my skin was needing a little more cover today as I'm looking quite pastey.

I want to buy the Bourjois Clubbing Mascara tomorrow, so if I do I'll try to review that, and compare it to the L'oreal Extra Collagen Mascara I'm using that the moment (I usually use Macs Plush Lash Mascara).
Ooh and tomorrow I'm having my hair cut for the first time since I was diagnosed with Alopecia, so I'm really excited about it. My hair needs a damn good trim.
When I was diagnosed about 10 weeks ago (or more) with alopecia I wasnt sure if I'd lose all my hair, so I left my hair be for a while. I'm not certain it won't all fall out, but the thinning has eased a bit and I think I've found new growth :)

Argh, I need to organise what I'm writing on these blogs better, so I know I've said all I wanted to. I'm sure I will get better at it though, in time :)

Skint, Lazy day.

So today was a quiet day, and I just went for a quick walk in the little town near where I live, so I didn't dress up or anything today, but since I was doing an fotd I thought I'd just show my new waistcoat :)
Face :Chanel teint innocence
Mac Moisturecover concealer
Mac Honey Light High-Light Powder
Mac Beauty Powder- Summer Rose

Eyes: Bamboo e/s all over
Flip e/s on Lid
Romp e/s on outer corner and crease
Goldmine e/s above crease (All Mac)
L'oreal Extra Volume Mascara

Lips: Up the Amp l/s by Mac

I did buy a few things today however hehe ;)
In the village where I live there is this little treasure of a shop, the lady there sells everything from Antiques to Cosmetics, and well yeah she sells cosmetics. And being as obsessed as I am, I called in there and bought a
few things.

I bought Estee Lauder High Gloss Plump in Melon Plump, this is a very nice peachy colour. It has a menthol tingley feeling (not like some of the harsher ones) but this is a really nice one, it feels refreshing and its not sticky, so I really like this one.

Estee Lauder High Gloss Plump -Melon Plump

I also bought a Lip Stick by Yves Saint Laurent - Rouge Personnel in 13 which is a shocking pink colour. It slides on really smoothly and feels really moisturising. It doesnt have as much pigment as say a mac lip stick, but this one can be built up and its a dream to wear, feels sort of like a balm, its really comfortable. I do really like it.
YSL Rouge Personnel 13

And so last but not least I bought an Urban Decay Eye Shadow Delux in Scratch. Which is a Pink Champagne colour. This eyeshadow is a really smooth and highly pigmented eye shadow, I think I will include it in a near future fotd as I'm eager to try it out.
I would have posted a swatch of it, but the lighting in my room is terrible. So I might add one at a later date.

I'd also like to thank the people that have joined my blog :) I hope to get better at it, and make it more interesting as my experience of blogging grows :)

I love Sales :)

So last week I bought some clothes, I hadn't posted anything until now, as I wasn't sure if I should. but what the heck :)
I bought a few little things from River Island (I love this Shop).
Im REALLY in love with this dress, it sort of reminds me of Carries dress in SATC when shes in Paris.

I love this Crochet waistcoat

I then bought a pair of Boyfriend jeans (they'll look nice dressed down with sandals) and a cute little necklace (I loved the little charms on it) from Miss Selfridge.

I also bought two scarves, but forgot to take pics.
And a Pair of Lee Jeans from TKMaxx (I love Tkmaxx, its great). I bought a really nice face cream and a Korres Shower Gel, which I shall post about another time.
So anyway, thats what I bought, and I'm looking forward to some retail therapy tomorrow, not that I'll be buying much :(
I think shopping should be prescribed on the NHS instead of prozac, for that feel good factor ;)

So here's my pics and what I wore.

Here's what I used:

Mac Select Moisturecover concealer
Mac Blushcreme in Blossoming

Mac High-Light Powder -Honey Light

Sorry If the pictures aren't up to scratch, I'm still trying to work out how to use the camera, lol.
